Accessing department email accounts

  1. To access your department account, please go to outlook.office.com and enter your department email (you may want to open a different browser if you are already logged into your personal FHDA email account) and hit next:

  1. The gold single sign on page will appear.  Please enter the department account name (without the @fhda.edu), and password.
  2. You should see the emails associated with this account.  



  1. Another option that eliminates the need to remember the password is to enter an ETS ticket to request being added as a delegate to this account.  Once you are added, you can access the department account through your fhda account.
  2. Log into your fhda account by going to MyPortal and clicking on the Exchange app.
  3. In the upper right hand corner, you will see your initials.  Click on your intials and choose "Open another mailbox"
  4. Enter the department mailbox name and click enter.

  1. Another tab will be opened for the department email account.  Any emails sent from this account will have the department name as the sender, not your personal email.
